Mr. Mirza Salman Ispahani is the son of Mirza Mehdy (Sadri) Ispahani and Sultani Ispahani, born in December, 1957. Mr Salman Ispahani has completed BA(Hons) Law,  Bar at Law (Lincolns Inn) Called to the Bar in 1981.

The Education, Science, Technology and Cultural Development Trust (ESTCDT), the Founding Trust of Independent University, Bangladesh and Chittagong Independent University, welcomes Mr. Mirza Salman Ispahani to the Board as a Trustee.

Mr. Salman Ispahani is the Managing Director of M M Ispahani Limited. He is the Chairman of Ispahani Public School & College. Mr. Salman Ispahani is the former chairman of Chittagong Stock Exchange Limited. He is the former Chairman of the Tea Traders Association of Bangladesh. He was elected as the chairman of the International Cotton Association for 2017–18, Liverpool, UK, (first Bangladeshi to achieve this prestigious position). He was elected to the ICA Board of Directors in 2013. He was also a member of the Bangladesh Cricket Board. He is the honorary consul of Italy in Chittagong. Mr. Salman is also an avid golf player, playing in many national tournaments and hosts the annual Ispahani Cup golf tournament and is the Vice-President (Golf Wing) of Bhatiary Golf & Country Club, Chittagong. He is the immediate past Chairman, Board of Trustees, The Duke of Edinburgh’s Award Foundation, Bangladesh.
