The parking facility has the following features:

The full parking area is covered with herringbone soling with a good drainage system.

The full area is covered with good lighting system and is well lit during night time.

Easy access and exit to the main road.

The entry and exit gates are manned by security guards.

The parking area is guarded by professional security guards.

Sitting area for drivers and helpers.

Washroom facilities with toilets and bathing area.

Network connectivity with ISATL sheds and main gates.
Procedures for Trucks/Vans:

Upon arriving, photos of trucks/vans including number plates are taken by security guards.

A token with serial number and date of arrival is provided to the truck/van driver.

Truck/van then enters the parking area.

Registration of the truck/van arrival including Shippers Invoice is made in the record book. “Arrived at Parking” seal is stamped on the opposite page of Shipper’s Invoice.

Photo of the truck/van is sent to Gate No. 1 at ISATL. The truck/van is recorded as ‘’PARKING IN” in the software. This information is automatically passed to all users of the software.

Driver hands over the Shipper’s Invoice with SAP seal to C&F agent. The C&F agent hands over the invoice to the Forwarder’s office. Forwarders issue confirmation to the C&F agent.

C&F agent hands over the documents along with Forwarder’s confirmation to Warehouse Table in charge.

ISATL staff (Table-in-Charge) instructs the Gate Security to allow truck/van entry, mentioning truck/van number and carton/cargo quantity.

Gate Security informs Truck Parking Office to send the mentioned truck/van to CFS Warehouse after issuing Gate-pass.

Gate Security at ISATL allows truck/van inside CFS upon checking Gate-pass, invoice etc. Gate Security collects the token and updates “GATE IN” in the software. Gate Security allows truck/van to enter ISATL after checking the truck/van thoroughly.

On completion of unloading, truck/van reports to the gate, where the truck/van is checked thoroughly and Gate-Out procedure is followed prior to exiting ISATL.
